God-focused, not Problem-focused

The Assyrians surrounded Jerusalem and in response Hezekiah’s prayer focused NOT on his problems but on His God (See Isaiah 37:14-20).

• the Hebrew God

• the living God

• the only God

• the universal God

• the creator God

Hezekiah’s prayer focused on both God’s greatness and God’s glory (see verse 20).

Don’t be problem focused in your praying, be God-focused. A similar prayer is found in Acts 4:24-30.
